Association of Independent Painters in Latgale began its work in December 2003 as a continuer of the glorious traditions of the original painters of Daugavpils and Latgale. In it together as professional painters and amateur painters.

2006 Exhibition in the Russian Gallery in Vilnius (Lithuania); Exhibition in Daugavpils Local History and Art Museum; Two exhibitions at the Daugavpils Centre of social services and rehabilitation; Thematic Exhibition in Ilukste dedicated to Christmas.

2005 Exhibition dedicated to 730 anniversary of Daugavpils, Itinerant Exhibition in Rezekne and Kraslava.

2004 Showcase in Daugavpils Culture & Sports’ Hall; exhibition in a shopping complex "Ditton Nams” at the invitation of the administration; exhibition in Daugavpils Art and History Museum.
